About the Bible

The Bible is God’s word to all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the infallible revelation of God to man.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

About God

There is only one true, eternal God and He is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.  (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Isaiah 43:10-11)

About Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. Conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary.  Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory, where he now sits as intercessor and mediator, and will return to earth to reign as King of kings, and Lord of lords. (John 1:1, John 1:14, Isaiah 9:6,Matthew 1:22-23, Acts 1:9-11, 2:22)

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to yield to His leading daily. (Romans 8:11,2 Corinthians 3:17, John 14:26, 16:7-13, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 1:13, Zechariah 4:6)

About Man

Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin”. This attitude separates man from God. (Genesis 1:26-27, Isaiah 53:6a, 59:1-2, Romans 3:23, James 4:17)

About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to man. Through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  Repentance is commanded for all and necessary for the forgiveness of sin.    Justification, regeneration, and new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.  Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. (John 1:12, 3:5, 14:6, Titus 3:5, Romans 5:1, Ephesians 2:8,9, Romans 3:9-12, Acts 2:38)

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in Jesus’ name.

About Baptism in The Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised to all believers subsequent to salvation as an entrance to a Spirit-filled life such as a prayer language, gifts of the Spirit, and the power to be a witness of God. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.  In speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. (Joel 2:28-29, Luke 3:16, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:5, 8)

About Sanctification

This is the process of being separated from sin and dedicated to God. Sanctification is possible through faith in the blood, the Word and the Holy Ghost.  We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation. Holiness is our standard for living. (I Thessalonians 5:23, II Corinthians 3:18, Philippians 3:12-14, II Peter 3:18)

Dress Code

We believe in dressing in modest apparel according to1Timothy 2:9-10.

About Divine Healing

Healing is for the physical and emotional ills of the body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands and anointing with oil. It is the privilege of every member of the Church today. Divine healing is available through the atonement of Jesus Christ. (Mark 16:18, James 5:14-20, I Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-6)

Holy Ordinance

We believe in partaking in the Lord’s Supper; and in as often as we eat of the bread and drink the cup, we do proclaim the death of our Lord until he comes. (1 Corinthian 11:26)

Resurrection of the Just and Return of Our Lord

The angels said, "This same Jesus shall so come in like manner." His coming is imminent. When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise to meet Him, then, those believers who are physically still alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. (Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:1-17).  He shall return to the Earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and together with His saints, He shall reign a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)

Our Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.  (John 3:16, 2:25, 1 John 5:11-13, Romans 6:22-23, Revelation 20:15, Ecclesiastes 3:11-14)

Hell and Eternal Retribution

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal.

About Marriage

Marriage is an institution established by God between a man and a woman and therefore cannot be altered (Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:9).  It is also symbolic of Christ and His church.  (Ephesians 5:22-33)
